Moving on...

Taylor had her last day of Kindergarten on Friday. It kind of freaks me out because she will be moving on to first grade in just 2 weeks! Despite my best efforts, I leaked tears throughout the little program they did on Thursday. Though I'm excited for her to go full day, I realize that my kids are growing up so fast!

They sang lots of cute songs that went along with what they had learned at school. Taylor will be graduating despite her upside down T in this picture. I loved these t-shirts they had the kids wear because they have a picture that each kid drew of themselves. Kind of like a yearbook on a t-shirt.
We loved having Mrs. Dove as Taylor's teacher. She was always welcoming of parents concerns and calls. And we were especially thankful for her because Taylor didn't even have a permanent teacher until a couple of months into the year when they hired Mrs. Dove. Taylor has learned so much this year including how to write in a journal and read. I know she will do well in the first grade!

New Nephew

I just had to share the sweet face of my new nephew, Spencer, born Saturday morning. I'm bummed because I can't hold him right now but I'll get my chance when we go to Utah in a couple of weeks. He's the 18th grandchild born to my parents and the first since Reagan was born over 2 years ago so we are all excited to have another newborn in the family.
