Taylor decided to organize a parade for the morning of the 4th of July. Our summers are hot here and I wasn't sure I was up for an outside activity unless we were in a pool. The weather however ended up being extremely cooler than usual making it a great day for a parade! We in fact had cooler weather than Salt Lake City this year!
Taylor invited our neighbors and some of our friends to decorate their bikes and cars to be in the parade.
Later that night we went to our neighborhood park where Henderson city shoots off their fireworks. It was nice to have them so close to home and to have such unbelievably cool weather.
