Last year Eric and I decided to start taking our kids out on some of our date nights. We aren't really regular about getting out on dates so Will's turn didn't come around until 4 or 5 months after Taylor's date night. We hope to get out a little more than that going forward. I still remember very vividly when my parents took just me to an ice skating rink when I was in first grade (leaving behind probably 3 younger sibs at home). That undivided attention from my parents made for such a fun time for me so Eric and I decided to take turns taking our kids out with us. Will choose to go to McDonald's for lunch and Yogi Bear in 3D. We have really enjoyed getting to know our kids better and see them in a different light as they behave differently when they have our full attention.

Date Night with Will
Last year Eric and I decided to start taking our kids out on some of our date nights. We've not done a lot of date nights with the kids lately either. I love that you're doing it. I just hope our kids remember that we used to do it before their lives got crazy.
