Taylor started school on August 24th as a first grader with only a 2 week break since she graduated from Kindergarten. I wasn't sure how she would handle the full day school schedule but she did great and seemed even more excited for the 2nd day of school than she did with the first. She loved having lunch at school and I was relieved to know that she had sat with a couple of her friends and not by herself (this was only my concern--mommy's don't want their kids to be lonely!) It appears she only has 16 kids in her class which is about 7 less than she had in Kindergarten. So far so good!
Will also started preschool the same day and goes to a neighbors house down the street. This is so nice for me because its so close and its nice having some time to run errands with only Reagan as my shopping buddy (that will only last a couple of months but hey, it will be good for getting ready for this baby to come!) Will went into preschool without any hesitation. He was very excited.

I'm bummed because I can't find Kyle's exact same Thomas backpack. I wanted him to use it for preschool as well (which starts Tuesday).
Sweet kids. My kids refused backpacks this year. They all have bags instead.
Taylor is so big girl!! That is nice her class is so small.

You're just like me! I'm always worried they won't have someone to sit with at lunch or to play with at recess. Your kids are very cute! These are great years!
man, Porter doesn't get to start preschool until the 14th but I can't wait!
