After the reunion, Eric would be traveling to Denver for work so we took advantage of the fact that Taylor was out of school and stayed at my parents house for the week. We got together with Eric's family Monday night before Eric headed out of town. It was fun to compare bellies with Eric's sister Robin who is due the same day as me (why didn't we take a picture?) and enjoy some homemade rootbeer and let the kids play with their cousin Emma who they hadn't seen for a while.
Tuesday some of my cousins came over with their kids for a backyard playdate and picnic in my mom's backyard. My dad has constructed a big swingset/playland for the grandkids which Taylor, Will and Reagan were entertained in all week long! They have a half acre with trees for shade and fortunate for us, corn on the cob which was ready for the eating. I did plenty of that too during this week! The weather was SO nice this week with temperatures in the 70s and 80s.

We needed to take time at the zoo since Las Vegas doesn't have much of one to speak of. This picture shows all the little cousins that came with us that day (minus Spencer).

We had to ride the Merry-Go-Round of course.

And Reagan and I obsessed for a while over the baby giraffe.

Other highlights from our trip included snuggling with my new nephew Spencer, eating at Enjoy (great Chinese food!) and just spending time with family.

Saturday, we all were present in Rock Springs, WY for my neice Holly's baptism. We would have loved to stay up there and visit longer but alas, we had to start our journey back home since we had a 10 hour drive ahead of us. Luckily we decided to split it up and spent the night in Cedar City so its wasn't too bad.

You gotta love the 2 year olds! From youngest to oldest--Reagan, Noah, Ava, Coleman and Hannah.

I will end this post on that happy note!

I'll be stealing some of your pics. You got some really cute shots of the kids.
How fun! We were there before the baby giraffe was born but it looks so cute! It's so fun to be with family and have good times!
I love the 2 year old pic.
